But before reaching Kyanjin Gompa, you will trek through several beautiful landscapes and green forests - the signature of this route. In this program, you will be walking inside Langtang National Park, one of the most beautiful national parks of Nepal. Lying close to Kathmandu Valley, the national park is adjacent to the Tibetan border at the north.

The region boasts around 350 species of birds and a huge number of wildlife including the endangered red panda. You might even see the Himalayan black bear, or the elusive snow panda, or even the native musk deer. This average trek (when compared to other regular treks in Nepal) is a good option for an introductory trek in Nepal - completely with majestic views of mountains, terraced farms, dense green forests, and a plethora of wildlife. The trek starts from Dhunche north of Kathmandu, and ends in Syabru Bensi from where you will return to Kathmandu. In less than two weeks, you will see the raging rivers, mossy forests, rocky misty trails, at least a waterfall, and yellow fields of mustard. Book this trek from Happy Yeti Adventure for an exciting trek to the beautiful landscapes of Nepal.

Langtang is one of the top trekking areas of Nepal and is located north of the Kathmandu valley. It is there that the first national park was created in 1976 not far from Kathmandu to protect its wilderness and its Tamang population.

The routes of Langtang cross magnificent forests of oaks and rhododendrons and offer views of mountains of 7000m or higher as well as the sacred lakes of Gosaïkund. A highlight of this trek is the ascent of Cherko Ri, a peak of 5000m.
